The Nintendo Wii console is great! Very compact and requires minimal space. It is white and fits right in every decoration scheme. The remote and nunchuk controllers that comes with the console are also lightweight and easy to use.

We love the Wii. Purchasing it from Amazon was easiest, no lines, no hassel and it arrived within a week. I have a 7 year old he loves it, my elderly mother loves it, and my husband and I love it. What a great workout.

I bought this console roughly a month back, and am already addictive to the technology used. I can play tennis at home with shedding some real sweat. A must for all teens, beware of the addiction though…

I’ve been wanting this for awhile but for some reason I always put it off. When the price dropped I finally stopped procrastinating and bought one. I’m glad I did. this system is great. Easy to hook up and play. The included sports game is great and easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I own the WII and purchased this one for our non-profit organization to raffle off as a gift. Went to Union breakfast and they raffle off two. The WII is great fun for all ages. My mom bought her one after playing with mine and she is 70.

I love the wii game system. It is easy to use and fun. I bought it especially for the wii Fit and wii Fit Plus and love it. Having fun while exercising in the comfort of my home. I also love the wii Sports Resort.

My husband and I are over 60 and bought the Wii with sports. Not only is it good exercise, we enjoy competing with each other and find that we practice when we are home alone so try to improve our skills to get better than the other one. It has given us something to look forward to in the evenings other than watching television. We are planning to purchase other games in the future.

    Wii Purchase

I have been a faithful amazon purchaser now for a couple of years. Recently I purchased the Nintendo Wii in September 09. I am 100% happy with it. Not only did I get the Wii at a great reduced price. But amazon also offered me a $25.00 gift card with the purchase. Which even after paying the shipping my price was still lower than what I would have paid at a department store. Thank you again Amazon for selling quality products at great prices.

I finally got my hands on a Wii after all this time and to be honest, I could’ve waited longer. As great as some of the games are, there are very few of them and the unique control scheme only dazzles you for so long. There’s lots of great games on the horizon and this system is the ONLY place you’ll find games like Zelda, mario and Metroid. On top of that, with the wii network where you can download hundreds of retro games, it has the largest library of games hands down, so long as you don’t have any of the past systems/games that they came out on.

In the end, this game shows lots of promise, but so far hasn’t quite lived up to the hype yet

We had been waiting to purchase a Wii for some time and so when the prices dropped and Amazon offered free shipping and a $25 gift card toward the purchase of another Wii product, we had to order! We absolutely love it! However, I am still awaiting arrival of that $25 gift card! Hopefully it will arrive soon. We plan to purchase the Wii Fit Plus with it. Cannot wait! You really do get a work out with this unit just playing the simple games that come with it so we really want the Wii Fit to get in shape and lose weight over the winter months. Plus, it’s just plain fun! The whole family can use this product it’s so simple! I highly recommend one to everyone!

I just want to add to the review of yesterday that, while we love are Wii and have no complaints about it, I do have a problem with Amazon and the way they do business! When I purchased the Wii I was of the understanding, by their description, I would receive a $25 gift card as described above. It sounded as though it was an automatic receipt, no instructions were included how to obtain it. After waiting over 2 weeks I contacted them to find that apparently I must enter a promo code, which I did not have, and set it as a “purchase” in order to obtain the gift card! Well Amazon can keep their gift card, I want my Wii Fit now! That being said, I will simply go to Wal Mart and purchase it since I was going to have to purchase it with a credit card anyway! Way to go Amazon!

    Family Fun!

If I was buying just for me, I might choose a PS3 and get the Blu-Ray player. However, I have young kids (7 and 3) and the number of games the Wii offers for kids, compared to the PS3, is unbelievable. If you have young kids and are buying something with them in mind, do them a favor and get the Wii. Of course, the demos for the PS3 wand (you can see on Youtube) make me think that will blow away the Wii. But, with no pricing on the wand available yet, no idea whether they will start marketing more games for the kids or not, I am still thinking the Wii is the best family choice.

This is the video game concole that brings the family together. We packaged ours with the Wii Fit + and have nothing but fun.

    Fun for all ages

Nintendo understands that casual gaming is not defined by ‘realistic graphics’ and ’serious competition’. The Wii is about having fun with family and friends. A wonderful system for those days when the weather sends most of us inside. The kids can even work off a little energy while playing.

This is the first video game we have ever had, it’s fun, but you may want to buy extra games, Wii Sports gets kinda blaa after a while, also, you will want the Wii Charge Station, Power runs out fast! Tennis is fun, I would let anyone from ages 5-100 years to play it, Golf…well…it’s hard, maybe only 15-100 year olds will want to play it without getting mad at it!! Baseball is also a little on the hard side, hitting the ball is hard…ages 8-100years, Bowling ALL AGES!!! Fun, easy, etc. Creating a “Mi” for yourself is also fun, we made one that looks JUST LIKE our dad! In fact, all my brother likes to do on Wii is make “Mi”s!
